Whether it’s pressure at school, drama with friends, or just the struggle to stay strong in our faith, it’s easy to feel outnumbered or outpowered. But God doesn’t call us to win by being the loudest or the strongest in a worldly sense—He shows us another way. In Proverbs 21:22, we see that wisdom—not brute strength—can bring down mighty strongholds. And in Hebrews 10, we learn that Jesus’ sacrifice has already won the ultimate battle for us. We don’t need to act prideful or put others down to feel powerful (see Proverbs 21:24); instead, we’re invited to live with confidence, knowing Christ has already done the heavy lifting.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. True Strength: What does it mean to “scale the city of the mighty” with wisdom? Think of a time when a calm, wise decision had more impact than getting angry or showing off.2. Check Your Pride: Are you trying to prove something by acting tough or sarcastic? Proverbs warns us about arrogance. Ask God to help you be confident without being prideful.3. Rest in the Finished Work: Hebrews 10 reminds us that Jesus’ sacrifice was “once for all.” You don’t have to keep earning God’s love—it’s already yours.
