“July Birds (Ambient Sound)” intro by David Kato “Momma Miss America” theme by Laws & J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League “That’s What I Like” interlude by Bruno Mars “Epic” outro by B.o.B. We got halfway through this episode and seriously began questioning whether Dave got his old notes mixed in with his new notes, wondering if we had actually already recorded this show. But we’re pretty sure we haven’t… pretty sure… we hope. The cherry on top: Ashley once again lost her audio for the second half of the show. I’m not keeping track, but I’m pretty sure that’s her fourth time. That’s great. 1) We reflect on what we’ve been up to over hiatus, 2) Dave struggling with finding purpose and motivation, 3) struggling to resolve our petty fights that feel big at the time, 4) apartment neighbor annoyances, 5) cool mockingbird neighbors, 6) a useful online voting tool at VotersEdge.org, 7) brand loyalty recommendations, 8) questionable marketing, 9) taking risks and chances only on things you’re innately attracted to, 10) improv vs speech class in school, 11) a conspiracy about fan edit movies, 12) the ethical entertainment the artist formerly known as Will Smith says he aspires for, 13) the questionable efficacy of car alarms, 14) Amazon’s devious efforts to scam their customers, 15) and the uselessness of comparing ourselves to famous successful people.
