School stress, drama with friends, pressure to fit in—it can feel like you’re constantly preparing for a fight. You plan, you worry, and you try to take control. But Proverbs 21:30–31 reminds us that even our best plans can’t override what God is doing. It’s not about being the strongest or the smartest—it’s about trusting the One who holds the victory. And when things get tough, like James 1 says, God isn’t absent. He’s using the hard stuff to make us stronger, more faithful, and more like Him. Help me to trust You more than I trust myself. When things get hard, remind me that You are using every trial to grow my faith. Give me the courage not just to hear Your Word, but to live it every day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
