August 2 – Lift Up Your Eyes

In today’s episode, Pastor Robert Rosales shares a devotion from John 4:35, where Jesus tells His disciples, “Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest.” While the disciples were focused on physical needs and ordinary timelines, Jesus redirected their attention to the spiritual opportunities standing right in front of them. Pastor Robert reminds listeners that Jesus was not talking about crops, but about people who were ready to hear the good news of the gospel. Too often we become so consumed with our own schedules, responsibilities, and concerns that we fail to notice those around us who are searching for hope, purpose, and truth. Just as the Samaritan woman immediately shared her encounter with Jesus and brought others to Him, God can use our own testimony to point people toward Christ. As we ask the Holy Spirit to lift our eyes beyond ourselves, we become more aware of the opportunities He places before us each day.
