Cathy Lauer is an amazing woman! Besides being a great guitarist and part of the band Lynette Skynyrd, she is also an amazing tech and builds custom pedalboard and rack systems at her company, Tone Zone LA. We talk to Cathy about a special project, building a new pedalboard for legendary guitarist "Guitar Shorty." (Guitar Shorty was the person who introduced Jimi Hendrix to the wah wah pedal, and gave him his first wah.) Cathy will talk to us about what Guitar Shorty used to use, what she built for him, and, we will follow up this show with another, later in the year, with Guitar Shorty, talking about how the system works on the road!
