Or maybe you’ve been tempted to show off just to get attention. Proverbs 21:4 reminds us that pride in our hearts leads us away from God, even when everything looks fine on the outside. On the other hand, 2 Thessalonians 1 encourages us to live in a way that reflects God’s calling—not for applause, but because His power is working through us. And in 2 Thessalonians 3:13, we’re told not to give up doing good, even when it feels tiring or unappreciated.God doesn’t just care about what we do—He cares about why we do it. A proud heart says, “Look at me.” A humble heart says, “Look at God.” When we live to honor Him rather than ourselves, our lives shine brighter than any spotlight the world could give us.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1.
