Heading into the first game week of the 2021 season, new Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian released the 2021 depth chart - which included confirmation that Hudson Card is officially QB1 for the Texas Longhorns. The highly-touted commit out of Lake Travis High School takes the reins of a talented, but untested offensive unit into the new season. What do we hope to see from the young signal-caller and how do we think he meshes with the other talent on the offense? Defensively, Texas returns a lot of experience in pockets with a very high ceiling. Anchored by a stout defensive line and a secondary that could be special if all of the pieces live up to their highly-recruited billing.
