Father emphasizes the importance of acting on one’s faith rather than merely hearing spiritual teachings. Drawing from St. James’ letter, the message is clear: true faith should translate into action. The concept of self-delusion is explored, particularly the idea that one can compartmentalize their faith, leading to a disconnect between belief and behavior. Father urges us to embrace the transformative power of the Word of God and the Eucharist, highlighting that an authentic encounter with Jesus should inspire change and lead to tangible actions in daily life. The call to action is to listen deeply to God’s word and commit to one specific act of service or kindness after Mass, thereby making God’s love visible in the world.
