Moses and Aaron obeyed God’s command to approach Pharaoh only for Pharaoh to retaliate causing the Israelites to suffer even more afflictions.  Their fear of Pharaoh not responding in a positive way had proven to be right.  How do you think this left Moses and Aaron feeling?  Do you think they felt responsible for the Israelites’ pain?  They had followed God’s exact commands and yet Pharaoh imposed more suffering on them.  Do you think they wondered where God was?  Have you prayed for something or someone and felt as if God has not heard you?  Think of it this way:  you see something online that you want to order.  Sometimes the order is shipped immediately.  Other times your shipment is promised in a week, two weeks, or maybe even a month.  Sometimes you’re told your item is no longer available and you will not be receiving it.  God always answers our prayers.  Sometimes the answer is immediate, other times we are called to wait and yet other times, the answer is no.  It’s not until we are on the other side of the situation that we always understand why the answer is no.  Quite possibly, we may not understand the answer until we get to Heaven.  Remember, regardless of the timing, God is in the situation and in every detail.  Continue to pray with faithfulness and trust that God hears you.  We may not understand the answer but be assured God wants only the best for you.
