August 7 – One Thing I Know

In today’s episode, Pastor Brandon Dirmann shares a devotion from John 9:25, where a man who had been healed of blindness is questioned by religious leaders about Jesus. Faced with questions he could not answer, the man simply responds, “One thing I do know: I was blind, but now I see.” Pastor Brandon reminds listeners that we can sometimes feel pressure to have an answer for every question before we can effectively share our faith. But God has not called us to know everything—He has called us to be witnesses. If we have put our faith in Jesus, He has already done something supernatural in our lives, bringing us from spiritual death to life and giving us forgiveness, freedom, and hope. Our testimony of what Christ has done is something no difficult question can take away. Rather than feeling pressured to fill every gap or win every argument, we can simply and confidently share what we know, what we have experienced, and how Jesus has changed us.
