AUGUST CATCH UP EPISODE
from Not Another Whisky Podcast
In this laid-back episode of Not Another Whisky Podcast, Mitch and Nicholas return after an unplanned summer break with plenty of stories to share. While Mitch was busy soaking up the sun in Greece (and possibly getting some questionable tan lines), Nicholas found himself stuck in an airport, becoming an expert on duty-free whisky labels. This catch-up episode is packed with the latest whisky news, including: Beyoncé’s surprise entry into the whisky world with her new brand, Sir Davis (complete with a nearly successful exclusive interview... ). Macmyra's unfortunate bankruptcy and its impact on the Scandinavian whisky scene. Scottish scientists are turning whisky waste into £90 million worth of 'liquid gold'—because whisky is now saving the planet. Benbecula Distillery is reviving a 130-year-old recipe, mixing tradition with modern techniques. Price hikes hitting the UK whisky market this September, and why you might want to stock up on your favourite drams now. Penderyn is hitting a snag at its third site in Wales. With plenty of laughs, banter, and whisky wisdom, Mitch and Nicholas bring their signature humour to this episode, making sense of the whisky world one dram at a time. Hosted by Mitch Bechard and Daz Haldane, this is where the whisky world gets pulled apart properly, with stories, insights, and the occasional bit of chaos along the way. 🥃 New episodes every week(ish) 🎤 Live shows & tastings across Scotland 🎟️ Web: www.notanotherwhiskypodcast.com 📩 Enquiries & partnerships: [email protected] 📲 Follow us on Instagram
