This is the start of our new feature, The Friar Book Club. We start with the reading of the Confessions by Saint Augustine. It is both a story of his conversion and his summary of Christian belief. This first introduction comes from the book in the public domain we are using translated by ALBERT C. OUTLER, Ph.D., D.D.
