It’s our first interview for quite a while and who better to have on the show than Josh ‘Cappers’ Caplin. Josh is a drummer, MD and playback engineer extraordinaire working for the likes of Charlotte Plank, Central Cee, Charli XCX, FKA Twigs and Rag’n’Bone Man. Having just come off tour drumming for James Marriott in the USA we talk about his journey into playback, his role as an MD and how he juggles working with such big artists. We also chat about his influences growing up, practising, switching to Zildjian cymbals in one big spree and why he won’t go anywhere without his Black Beauty.
