Australian Luke Bridgford, keen to take on the world applies as a young man for a working visa from four countries. First to respond was Japan so that’s where he went, working a nine to five job. Understanding the language and the culture a little better he believed the Japanese might like to try camping Australian style in the great outdoors. So Luke setrup Overland Japan after testing it out on friends and it took off – 4x4s with a rooftop camper and it has become very popular with different generations of Japanese, as well as visiting Australians.
