Austin Peay Blows 17-Point Lead, Loses to Central Arkansas

Austin Peay State Universitys basketball team, ranked twenty-one wins and seven losses overall with a fifteen-and-two conference mark, suffered a heartbreaking 93-88 loss to Central Arkansas in their Atlantic Sun Conference matchup. Despite a strong start with hot three-point shooting and a seventeen-point lead, the Governors couldnt hold on late, allowing the Bears to claw back and secure their only home defeat of the season. Rashaud Marshall added nineteen points and nine rebounds for the Govs, but the team will look to bounce back in their final regular-season game against Bellarmine and the ASUN Tournament quarterfinals.
