Austin Pohlen — Training Celebrities, Moving to LA, & When Preparation Meets Opportunity | MTFP Ep.65

Honored to have on my man, Austin, for his first ever podcast conversation. But don't worry, he didn't disappoint and came with one hell of a story. I met Austin a little while back through mutual friends, and it was right before he got all big-time on me and moved out to LA to become a founding trainer at the new DOGPOUND gym. See, Austin is originally from Minnesota and played college basketball with hopes of working as a personal trainer. He got his degree, interned at a gym to gain some experience, and even wanted to give online coaching a try—that is, until he Instagram DMed the founder of DOGPOUND in LA (which was newly established) and asked for an interview to become a trainer. His wish was granted, he flew out to LA, nailed the interview, and he's now living in West Hollywood where he trains celebrities like Justin Bieber and Adam Levine (maybe you've heard of them?). In all honesty, I couldn't be happier for Austin and it's very much deserved.
