Australia has succumbed to Turkiye’s pressure in negotiations over who will host next year’s annual global climate meeting. It's a blow for us and our Pacific neighbours, but the prime minister insists we’ll still play a leading role. And Australian humanitarian Noah Taylor has spent this week travelling in possibly the most dangerous place on earth, Sudan’s El Fasher region.
