Australian swimmers dominated day two of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, claiming five gold medals and 20 medals overall in two days. Sam Williamson delivered an inspirational victory in the 100-metres breaststroke just 12 months after rupturing his patellar tendon in a gym accident, defeating three-time Olympic champion Adam Ramsay-Peaty.
