Author, Elise Krentzel's Memoir Under My Skin & Michael Hamilton's Sax

We're back with another show live from Austin, TX! Author, Elise Krentzel, returns to show from here in Austin to talk about her new memoir, Under My Skin, which describes how she took charge of the tumultuous 1970s by making a name for herself as a rock journalist when still a teenager. As a kid, she was encouraged by her parents to sing, play music, and write, but she wasn't allowed to be "herself." Alienated, she hid her heart and learned to become a stranger in her own skin as the torment of early childhood taught her to mistrust everyone, especially herself.  At 19 years old, she became the youngest journalist on the KISS Japan Tour. We will also have an interview with writer and Saxophonist Michael Hamilton and talk about his music Dr. Mara on finding peace in an uncertain world...and reconnecting to passion.
