Author Spotlight: Explore the growing world of CJ Edmunds' Tales from the Dark District

CJ Edmunds is the author behind the Tales from the Dark District, an urban fantasy series set in a magically cloaked corner of Manila where supernatural secrets and very human struggles collide. The novella, Sojourn, first introduced readers to the magical realm of the Dark District back in 2018, and the first book, entitled Take Me Now, guided readers through this vivid world of danger, desire, and destiny. Now, he's back with Take My Hand, the second full-length novel in the series. This time, the story follows Trina Lee—a beloved college guidance counselor who’s hiding more than just her feelings. In addition to being an author, CJ is a true renaissance man, working as a singer-songwriter under the name CAZ, a radio DJ, a voice actor, and a podcast host promoting Filipino creators through his show Urban Fantasy PH. And of course, he’s also active in fandoms from Star Wars to Harry Potter to The Lord of the Rings.We’re excited to take a deep dive into his newest release, to explore the growing world of the Dark District, and to talk a little scifi/fantasy too.
