Author Vicki Goodwin

I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. After raising my children I moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I spread my wings writing and learning the ins and out of the computer industry.   I participated in my first NaNoWriMo in 2009, where I wrote the first draft of my book The Path of the Child. After finding an editor I published and began the healing process from a long illness.    While I was recovering I was unable to read books which I had aways enjoyed and I was unable to write.  After five long years, I finally picked up a book my sister gave me and read it in one sitting. Which happened to be on the airplane flying home.   Once I read that one book, I was hooked once again. I began to devour books and after about six months I wrote my first pitiful review. I was once again enjoying writing so I began to focus on writing the reviews and sharing them on a blog that had sat unused for five years.     Now I enjoy blogging, reading, and writing reviews daily. I am also working on my third book while my second is being edited. Books are my passion along with my family and my Australian Shepherd, Beau.
