Authorities continue searching properties in Cleveland County

Federal agents executed multiple search warrants in Cleveland County late Tuesday into Wednesday.  The FBI said it assisted the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation as the agencies served warrants at multiple locations. The FBI hasn't released any further details about the investigation. Multiple police vehicles surrounded a home off Cherryville Road near Spake Farms. Officers from multiple jurisdictions were on the scene, including the SBI. Cleveland County officials told WCNC Charlotte's Tradesha Woodard they planned on being at the home all night.  Neighbors who live nearby said they were alarmed when they noticed a heavy police presence on Tuesday.
