Authority Is For Service

In this message, "Authority is for Service," Pastor Sam contrasts the world's self-serving leadership model with the Christ-like standard in 2 Corinthians 10. Discover how true, God-given authority is empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve and build others up, not for self-promotion or comparison. Learn to use your influence—in parenting, work, or church—to genuinely help others mature in Christ and find your validation in God's approval alone. --- Key Scripture in this Message: --- 2 Corinthians 10 Hebrews 13:17 Luke 22:25–27 John 13:14–16 Romans 15:1–3 Galatians 1:10 Ephesians 4:15–16 Hope Valley is one church that meets in houses to prioritize close relationships and see God transform our lives.
