Authority of Jesus

People often question Jesus when obeying Him threatens comfort, status, or control. In the temple, religious leaders ask for His authority, but His question about John’s baptism exposes their refusal to seek truth or repent. Jesus’ works point to authority from God; His sacrificial death rescues people who hate God, and His resurrection shows His power over death. Neutrality is not an option.
