She taught in several secondary schools for over 25 years rising to the position of Deputy Headteacher. She is the founder of Listening To Your Voice Ltd, a coaching and training business, specialising in holistic wellbeing and overcoming work-related stress. She is a licenced practitioner of Motivational Maps ® which can be used with individuals, business and youth. She is a certified Master Coach. Ruth gained her NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) and earned an MA in Education.  She uses her training in an integrated way to help others to get detailed understanding of what motivates them as individuals, their colleagues, or their teams.  She is the author of ‘Say Yes To New Opportunities!
