On B&BP we talk a lot about teaching your children about sexual health but what if your child is on the autism spectrum? This can bring many new questions to the table. Tara Pennington and I hope to shed some light on autism and sexuality. While we can't cover it all in an hour (or many hours at that) we wanted to start here. I met with Tara Pennington who has been working with individuals who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for over 15 years. We're here to talk about autism and sexuality, a topic that can be hard to speak about for many parents. We're glad you're joining us. Tara and I explore some of the issues that arise when we think of sexual health and Autism. Tara give some helpful tips on parenting a child on the spectrum with ways to interact and support your child.
