Summary
Today I am joined with Melissa who is the founder of the Neurovascular Foundation. We talk about how Autism isn't a disease. We do talk about autism and crohn's disease which as you all know I have. Melissa explains to us about the Neurovascular Foundation. I share my story to Melissa in today's episode with Autism and crohn's and my diagnosis's. Melissa mentions about food with Crohn's disease on a recent episode on my podcast and how thrilled she was about raising points that if you eat something unhealthy it shouldn't be classed as a bad diet because with Crohn's disease you should eat what you can over time this can change. Me and Melissa also agree on the term of autistic labels "High or low functioning" that it just should be called Autism and the term "Disorder too which defines autism really. A great discussion about Autism and Crohn's today. The main topic of today's discussion is identifying what the term of disease is. Autism is known as a spectrum but we do say that there are similarities and differences with Autism and Crohn's disease. It is okay to be different because if we was all the same I think we would go crazy. Important topic today the more we advocate the more people will understand. Thank you Melissa!
