Changing DJ's diet was imperative when I learned that gluten and casein were proteins causing inflammation in both DJ's brain and gut Decreasing his ability to speak and causing a lot of stimming behaviors. After we removed the gluten and casein, not only did our non-verbal son age 4 begin to speak, but about 75% of his challenging and self-harming stimming stopped.
