Today I am joined with Martin who is autistic and was diagnosed when he was 5 in the 1990's and explains there wasn't much knowledge about autism back then. The focus on today's episode is growing up with autism and the future, Martin talks about his journey!  Martin talks about the support he got growing up with autism and also how it can be hard asking for help. Also martin says when talking about the future he wants to start his own company, do more public speaking talks and write another book perhaps a sequel to his first book. Yes Martin is a author Martin write a book which released in 2020 talking about his life with autism, including school life, growing up. the future and his Mum adds her thoughts from a parents perspective. Martin helps people such as some newly diagnosed children's parents so they have a better understanding and he hopes his big helps a lot of people. Martin has also one an award with book!  Which leads us onto hobbies, Martin loves photography and sports!  A great quote to finish the episode from Martin " An arrow can only be shot by being drawn back when life is dragging you back with difficulties it means it will launch you into something greater so hold on and keep aiming"  Thank you again Martin you was fantastic and a great conversation!
