Autistic Assemble: Self Identity & Films - With Beartriz

In today's episode we continue the series, we head to Chile for the first time ever! I'm am Joined with Beartriz who is autistic, she shares her journey on her first ever podcast! Beartriz was diagnosed last year in November becasue she first discovered she might be autistic September 2022 last year. We talk about self discovery and identity too becasue it does take time! Beartriz also has ADHD and was diagnosed when she was a child. We question ourselves and think is when we got our diagnosis of Autism the right time or would of it been more ideal, earlier and later on in life. Beartriz wants to be a English teacher and give people who haven't had the chance like Neurodivergent and autistic people!  A lot of discussion is about films/series talking about characters that show autistic traits, and the importance of her people show to be a character knowing reality from fiction. We both share experiences of Acting becasue we love it! we Identify we both love Doctor Who too!  Great advise from Beartriz: "To research about people who will diagnose you when you get diagnosed, do your homework!"  Thank you again Beatriz! You was amazing!
