Autumn Song

Acoustic guitar, voice, & toy xylophone Summer's gone & autumn's here Leaves turn colors & then they fall Into the soil they will disappear Nothing lasts after all Well, it does It just changes All the voices of the multitudes Claiming that they know the truth Tints & shades & various hues So I choose to stay aloof Who knows my way Anyway When the winter's gone & the spring returns Life will rise up from what's died If there's one lesson I have learned It's that they are on your side Who let you grow As best you know
