Did you know that Hampton Roads has the highest rates of breast cancer, prostate cancer and HIV/AIDS in Virginia? Did you know that the African American population is most at risk? What are the reasons for the health inequities in our area? What are the social determinants that keep the Black community in such poor health? And most importantly, what can we do about it?
