Set roughly a year after the tragedy in The Way of Water, the film sees the Sully family forced out of the reef and into a brutal confrontation with the Mangkwan Clan, also known as the "Ash People." This reaction covers the entire emotional journey—from the introduction of the terrifying Na'vi leader Varang to the shocking alliance between the Ash People and the RDA. The film is written and directed by James Cameron (Titanic, Aliens, The Terminator, Avatar: The Way of Water, True Lies) and stars Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans, Terminator Salvation, Man on a Ledge, Under the Banner of Heaven, Hacksaw Ridge), Zoe Saldaña (Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek, Avengers: Infinity War, Colombiana, Pirates of the Caribbean), and Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Ghostbusters, Galaxy Quest, Marvel's The Defenders, Holes). The ensemble includes Game of Thrones star Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, Sherlock, Taboo, Quantum of Solace) as the villainous Varang, along with David Thewlis (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Wonder Woman, Zack Snyder's Justice League, The Sandman, Dragonheart), Kate Winslet (Titanic, Mare of Easttown, Divergent, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Regime), and Stephen Lang (Don't Breathe, Gods and Generals, Tombstone, Mortal Engines, Salem). ____________________ We've got merch!
