Avelina Teodoro and Constancia Pineda: Schoolgirl Backstabbing (1929)

In 1929, the Court of First Instance of Pampanga sentenced Avelina Teodoro to life imprisonment for stabbing Constancia Pineda to death. That the murder was so cold-blooded or that it was committed by a female wasn’t even the most shocking thing about the case. It was the fact that both the criminal and her victim were only 16 years old.
