Avengers: Age of Ultron

from Super Sideshow · host Mike and Jay

We talk about Avengers: Age of Ultron and the things you missed if you never read the comics. Learn about Strucker, Wanda, Pietro, Hulk Buster, Ulysses Klaue, and more! Talk with us on Twitter. Strucker is a long lived character in the comics that didn’t get much screen time in the movies before being killed off. Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful magic wielders on Earth. Quicksilver was a member of the Avengers when they defeated Kang the Conquerer. In the comics the Iron Legion was a group of people led by War Machine to fight while Tony Stark was comatose. This group included Happy Hogan. Helen Cho is a minor character from the comics that gave birth to a son that eventually became a new Hulk. For a long time, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch were Magneto's children. But, that's been changed, mainly because of rights issues with Marvel and the X-men. There have been several Hulkbuster Armor suits in the comic books. Ultron gets killed in the comics but keeps coming back. Vision was created by Ultron from parts of the original Human Torch android. The Infinity Stones are also known as the Infinity Gems and the Soul Gems. It’s true. Jarvis is growing more and more concerned with the growing schism between the MCU and the comics.
