Avengers Assemble With Joanne Sheppard
from It's Good, Except It Sucks Hosted by Podnose
It’s Good, Except It Sucks is a movie by movie – and television series by television series – hurtle through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, hosted by Tim Worthington with a series of superpowered guests. This time we're taking another look at Avengers Assemble from 2012, and joining Tim for a chat about Loki's complete failure to understand what Doc Brown was actually up to at the Clock Tower is book reviewer Joanne Sheppard. What will they find to say about The Hipsters' Avenger, how to fight off an alien army with a red petticoat and why cinema needs more pirates with mechanical hands, and what does any of this have to do with an organised tour of the S.H.I.E.L.D. canteen? Get listening and find out! You can find more editions of It's Good, Except it Sucks at http://timworthington.org/. You can hear Joanne’s thoughts on Avengers: Infinity War here and Avengers: Endgame here as well as Spider-Man: No Way Home here, Deadpool here, Deadpool 2 here, Blade II here and Blade: Trinity here. If you enjoy It's Good, Except It Sucks, you can help to support the show by buying us a coffee here. Let's see if Tony Stark unconvincingly pretends he's never tried coffee too.
