Avengers: Infinity War (part 2)

from Super Sideshow · host Mike and Jay

We talk about Avengers: Infinity War and the things you missed if you don't read the comics. Hear about The Black Order, Thanos, Bruce Banner, Hulk, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy, Wanda Maximoff, Vision, Captain America, Black Widow, Black Panther, Gamora, and more! Thanks to our special guest, Josh, from the Craft Beer Cast! Talk with us on Twitter and Reddit. Links from the discussion… A plan to save Vision There was always a push to make Shuri as smart, or smarter, than Tony Stark and Bruce Banner It was pretty clear from this scene that Wanda would have to kill Vision. Thanos makes a sacrifice None of this is in the comics. At all. A weak story telling trope. Jarvis hates it. But we get to see the Red Skull again. Our heroes take a stand Dr. Strange, Iron-man, Star Lord, Drax, Mantis, and Spider-man vs. Thanos. This isn't like the fight in the comics, but it is very, very similar. In the comics, taking the Gauntlet from Thanos is a key concept. WAKANDA FOREVER! This is nothing like the comics, but that's fine because it's awesome. Jarvis’ favorite part of this scene. StormBreaker Stormbreaker is originally Beta Ray Bill's hammer in the comics. Thor does have an axe in the comics called Jarnbjorn.
Thanos is here Good scene. We get to see power-levels correctly. Wanda holding back Thanos and Thor almost killing him. The Snap The Snap and the results of the snap are comic-book accurate, which made Jarvis very happy. Thanos final rest. Post Credit Scene A nice hint for the next movie, Captain Marvel. NEWS YOU CAN ABUSE Oh, now they wanna do World War Hulk.  Kamala Kahn’s powers look….different.  No Way Home in Empire.
