Well Autism is not a thing with specific characteristics. It's a syndrome and science is learning it has been around since mankind starting reproducing. Most often it is missed or misdiagnosed, or in some cases over diagnosed. Some individuals are affected not just by Autism but other neurological components that challenge them. However, being on the spectrum does not indicate you are not a viable part of our society.
