Avoid These Decorating Mistakes

Between the three of us, we have probably made almost any decorating mistake you can make. Nothing schools a decorator better than a few whoppers! The good thing about this podcast is we can make the mistakes for you and live to tell you what not to do! Today we are talking about AVOID THESE DECORATING MISTAKES! We can all agree about not cluttering up our refrigerators. I know we might get some blowback, but try taking down all the "stuff" on your refrigerator and see how much neater your kitchen will be! Matchy-Matchy is a big mistake!!!! Oh, my! Are you thinking about the flow of color throughout your room and your home? Take a picture and evaluate! Now let's all turn over a new leaf and add a few fabulous houseplants to our home! Organics bring life to a home! Home Depot is a great place to get houseplants, great prices and plants! We want to encourage you not to get weary in the decorating process. Don't settle! Make sure your furnishings are what you LOVE!!!! Don't hurry through the process! One BIG mistake we can all agree upon is buying a rug that is too small for a room or area. Spend the money and get the right size!!!!
