After raising all the questions and problems, we actually managed to figure out the main idea by ourselves. After that, we learned three meforshim - all of whom added layers of nuance to the idea we discovered. We ended the shiur by making sure we answered all of our questions and by reviewing the practical applications. And here's a teaser: at SOME point in the shiur I go on my rant about how the modern notion of "privilege" is really just a corruptive (and corrosive) version of a beautiful and valuable Torah idea ... but I'm not going to tell you where in the shiur it is!
