Deadly delay for millions of bees A shipment of millions of honey bees from California to Alaska was supposed to go through Seattle, but was instead rerouted through Atlanta. Compounding the problem, they were left in conditions that led to millions of the bees dying. Airbus Q1 2022 results Airbus released its first quarter results this week. The big news is the slip to early 2024 for the A321XLR and then upcoming production rate increases for the A320 family. Winglet be gone An American Eagle (Envoy Air) flight hit severe turbulence en route from Charleston to Dallas—severe enough that one of the E175’s winglets fell off. The flight diverted safely to Birmingham, Alabama. NTSB issues final report on Air Baltic C Series engine failure The NTSB issued its final report on the uncontained engine failure suffered by AirBaltic C Series YL-AAU back in early 2020.
