Awaken Hope PM Edition with Michael Watson on Giving good Evidence in Court

from Awaken Hope · host Kandiee Campbell

Michael Watson has been a professionally qualified social worker for over twenty six years. He has worked in a variety of social work positions, starting out as a generic social worker in the 1980's and going on to work in adoption and later on specializing in working with Children and Families. Between 1986 and 1994 he worked for four different local authorities and then changed jobs to become what was then known as a Guardian Ad Litem for a number of years prior to the commencement of the Child And Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS). After Cafacass was established his job title changed to that of a self employed Children's Guardian, but the duties were very largely the same. Basically, for the past almost twenty years, he has been an expert in the court with regard to children and families. Throughout his years as a social worker he has always been an aspiring writer. Although prior to him writing his first book, all his earlier writing involved fiction. It was not until he went on a course late last year that he decided he would put his considerable years of experience in the family court, including working with children and families and his writing skills together, to produce material that he hopes will benefit a far wider audience. His first book and one or two others in the pipeline will be focused on helping children, families and parents experiencing relationship problems. But don't be surprised if in the near future, you discover he is also writing fiction too. You can find out more about the work he does and how he can help you at: www.familycourtcoaching.co.uk or by contacting him on: 07960077063. Get a copy of his books on Amazon:

Paper Flower Consortium is a podcast from the largest vampire coven in Seattle. Their stories are told by Loretta Fabron Onfoy, coven historian and librarian, in the hope that the modern vampire's way of life is not lost during the next great language transformation. Some tales in this anthology are horrific, some are droll, some are filled with misadventure--just like any eternal existence. Episodes sponsored by the Paper Flower Consortium's Business Community. The history is followed by questions from curious initiates. Want to ask Lady Loretta a question about vampirism? Have a topic you want to see discussed? Understanding the ten commandments can be a good place to reflect on, as they were one of Israel's first introductions to learning how to relate to God and live in His way. Jesus also references the commandments in his sermon on the mount saying, “...whoever does them [the commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Looking forward to exploring these with you!
