SUSIE SINGER CARTER CO-FOUNDER Ms. Singer Carter is a multi-award-winning filmmaker, podcast producer/host and Caregiver Advocate. As a filmmaker, she is focused on narratives that challenge stereotypes, celebrate diversity, and foster empathy. She is on a mission to dismantle ageism and ableism from the collective consciousness. Susie wrote, directed, and produced the Oscar-qualified short, My Mom and the Girl, starring Valerie Harper, using her personal experience to shed a heartfelt, uplifting light on caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s. The film inspired her to launch and co-host the acclaimed podcast, "Love Conquers Alz", awarded Best Podcast 2020 by New Media Film Festival and 2024 Best Dementia Podcast by Goodpods. Susie wrote and produced “Bratz: The Movie” (Lionsgate) and co-produced “Soul Surfer” (Sony). She also co-wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the horror/comedy podcast, “I Love Lucifer”, nominated for Best Audio Fiction by the Indie Series Awards. Her latest screenplay, “RUN”, is set to release in spring of 2026. Susie is currently most proud of writing, directing, and producing the 2025 award-winning docuseries, “No Country for Old People; a Nursing Home Exposé” (available on Prime Video). After her mother suffered and died from neglect and abuse in a 5-star facility, she felt morally compelled to expose a broken system through a cautionary tale meant to spark reform. The series received the 2024 Gold Anthem Award for Healthcare Awareness before it was released. A passionate advocate, Susie emceed the San Fernando Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s and proudly carried a purple flower for her late mother. She also hosts the WGAW’s 3rd & Fairfax Podcast.
