Awaken Hope with Elena Sophia Ruiz on How to be your authentic self

from Awaken Hope · host Kandiee Campbell

I was born in Mexico and moved to San Diego 25 years ago. Having already built a career with close to 10 years of payroll and human resources experience in Mexico, starting again in San Diego was not easy. Back then, I was not able to speak the language, and I had to research and study to bring my career knowledge up to speed with American labor compliance. Thankfully, learning is my highest value, so I enjoyed the challenge, and being new in San Diego gave me many opportunities to learn new things. A few years after moving to San Diego, I had the opportunity to become a businesswoman. At the time, it seemed both scary and inspiring. I decided to start a new venture with my first company, United Payroll & HR Services, a local company with clients in California and mostly in San Diego. This company is what I call my firstborn, and has this year celebrated its 18th anniversary. United Payroll & HR Services personalizes our service for each client’s unique need. Over the years, I found that the most popular – and personally inspiring – part of our services was helping our clients resolve difficult situations with employees. As United Payroll & HR started to take off, and as I continued my studies in the area of personal growth, I started to learn more about the human mind. I learned about human behavior at a level of being able to resolve unbalanced perceptions for my clients, utilizing primarily a method created by Dr. John Demartini. As my studies and understanding of the mind deepened, I soon began facilitating with Dr. Demartini in many countries around the globe. At this point, I decided to launch my second-born company, Elena Sophia Life Balance. This company focuses on helping clients move from having a stressful life to living an inspired life. We help clients with their life mission and balancing the present in order to transform their future. Helping people reach their potential, clear their mind, and learn and understand more about themselves has been very rewarding. I began integrating the tools I’d been using for Elena Sophia Life Balance with my human resources business, helping resolve extremely difficult situations for both employers and employees. Based on the successful and very inspiring cases we were helping to solve in both companies, I then launched my newest business, The Alternative HR Solution. With this company, I use a combination of all the tools I have learned over the last 30 years to bring paradoxical and complex situations to a successful outcome, which saves an immense amount of stress, time, and money to both the employer and the employee. I am a negotiator, a conflict resolution consultant. I facilitate employers and employees to reach an agreement that fulfills both.

Paper Flower Consortium is a podcast from the largest vampire coven in Seattle. Their stories are told by Loretta Fabron Onfoy, coven historian and librarian, in the hope that the modern vampire's way of life is not lost during the next great language transformation. Some tales in this anthology are horrific, some are droll, some are filled with misadventure--just like any eternal existence. Episodes sponsored by the Paper Flower Consortium's Business Community. The history is followed by questions from curious initiates. Want to ask Lady Loretta a question about vampirism? Have a topic you want to see discussed? Understanding the ten commandments can be a good place to reflect on, as they were one of Israel's first introductions to learning how to relate to God and live in His way. Jesus also references the commandments in his sermon on the mount saying, “...whoever does them [the commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Looking forward to exploring these with you!
