One of the challenges we are faced with in the process of awakening is that we get caught within a self-identity that is rooted in the mind and we don't have the keys to break out of this mental prison and access the deeper truth of who we really are as a "spiritual" or "soul" based being. In this workshop I will present a model explaining how the human psyche is structured and how the function of identity operates based on ancient Vedic Psychology. We will then engage in a powerful guided practice of self-inquiry called "Drg-Drsya-Viveka", an inquiry into the nature of the "seer" and the "seen". Here you will have the opportunity in the field of your direct experience to explore the inner landscape and discover the spiritual Self, which is self-luminous, shining of its own light, and inherently distinct as a reality that is separate from the mind.
