Awakening in the Sangha

from Manchester Buddhist Centre talks

A short talk given by Arthaketu at Manchester Buddhist Centre on Sangha Day, 22nd November 2015 Arthaketu introduces Sangha Day in the context of its fellow festivals, Buddha Day and Dharma Day. About Sangha Day Sangha Day is one of the four main Buddhist festivals in the year, usually held at the time of the full moon. Traditionally Buddhists would gather together for teachings, to meditate and to chant. We still do this today, gathering in large numbers to celebrate our spiritual community and creating a strong sense of collective practice.
