Part 1. The first great awakening came at a time when the future of this nation seemed bleak. Moral decay had left even the most hopeful in fear that America was on the verge of decline. The second great awakening happened under similar circumstances. Given the plight this nation currently faces, can we expect a third great awakening to spread through our nation?
