Awakening to Regret: “I Wish I Could Start Over”

A “mulligan.” Have you ever heard of it? It is a golf term. It means you can have a “do over,” a second chance. Pretty cool-huh? I guess someone thought that the game of golf is sometimes so tough, so hard, so frustrating, that a player just needs a “do over” once in a while… Do you ever wish you could have a “do over” in your life? Do you ever cry out deep down in your soul that you just wish you could “start over?” Do you somewhere have such regrets in your very soul that you long for a second chance? Again, you are not alone. It seems to me we all are there somehow and sometime and somewhere. Of course, it is impossible. There are no real do overs in life…..or are there? Come and see. Just maybe this is part of our journey back to God.
