Peter J. Tomasi, recipient of the 2018 Inkpot Award for achievement in comics, is a New York Times best-selling author known not only for his writing on Superman, Batman and Robin, Super Sons, Green Lantern Corps, Batman-Detective Comics, and many more, but also as an award-winning group editor at DC Comics for 15 years where he ushered in new eras for Batman, Justice Society of America, Green Lantern, and the best-seller, Kingdom Come. Tomasi is also the author of House of Penance, nominated for best graphic novel at 2018 Angouleme International Comic Festival, Light Brigade, The Mighty, Blood Tree, and the critically acclaimed graphic novel The Bridge: The Building of the Brooklyn Bridge published by Abrams ComicArts. Tomasi also wrote the screenplay for the popular animated film “Death of Superman,” and his screenplay for “The Bridge” was on The Black List, as one of the best unproduced Hollywood scripts of that year.
