Award-Winning Singer and Songwriter Tayler Buono

from Live On Air with Steven Cuoco · host Steven Cuoco

Tayler Buono is an independent artist of incredible talent & sensitivity, capable of turning her most intimate confessions into deeply inspiring pop songs. On her breakthrough single “Technically Single,” the Orlando-raised singer/songwriter delivered an up-close look at the frustration of dealing with a noncommittal partner—then saw the self-released track shoot to #1 on Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 chart.
Growing up in Orlando, FL in a family of Mexican and Italian heritage, Tayler started singing at age 8, then took up guitar at age 14. “I learned my first 4 chords then stayed up all night writing my 1st song,” she recalls. “After that I didn’t stop: I’d come home from school, lock myself in my room and write. It’s my way of coping with any kind of heaviness in life.” Within a few years she won the prestigious Florida GRAMMY® showcase & moved to Nashville, eventually putting roots down in LA.
With her upcoming project, Tayler shares her most personal & creatively ambitious body of work to date: a collection of songs that speak the painful truth about a toxic relationship & devastating heartbreak, but ultimately offer a powerful roadmap to healing & self-discovery.
